Terms of service
Last updated 24 August 2026.
Agreement
These terms cover your use of the PolyVirt website, the analyzer and the reports it produces. Using the service means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Using the analyzer
The analyzer is free to use, including commercially, with no account required. You may use the reports it produces internally, share them with your own clients, and include them in your own migration documentation. There is no per-seat limit and no restriction on the number of environments you analyse.
We ask only that you do not attempt to disrupt the service for others, resell access to it as though it were your own product, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for everyone else.
Paid subscriptions
There are none at present. Nothing on this site can be purchased, and no payment terms apply to anything currently offered. If paid tiers ship, these terms will be updated before anything is charged for, and the terms in force at the point of sale will be the ones that apply — not these.
Assessment engagements, where we are engaged directly, are quoted and contracted separately, and these terms are subordinate to that contract where they conflict.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up but do not offer an uptime guarantee. There is no paid tier carrying a service level commitment; if one ever does, it will be stated in writing at the point of sale.
Intellectual property
The assessment engine, rule library and report templates remain ours. The inventory data you supply, and the reports generated from it, remain yours. We claim no licence over your data at all — the analyser runs in your browser and never sends it to us.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, on the free tier, is nothing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access where use breaches these terms, and will explain why where we are able to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
